Does your child love fashion? Perhaps they’re thinking of pursuing a career as a designer? If so, they’ll love our fun summer youth fashion camp overseen by fashion entrepreneur Liza Day. Your child will create their own designs, learn about sewing and illustration, and have the chance to speak with industry experts about careers in fashion.

Program details
The Cut’s summer teen fashion camp focuses on Design, Sewing, and Illustration. Throughout the week, students will also speak with an industry expert about the different careers available in the industry.
At the end of the week, each student will present the item they made in a fashion presentation for friends and family. Create your own designs, meet industry insiders, and learn all about the exciting careers in the world of fashion with our summer teen fashion camp—register today

What you will learn
Throughout the week, students will also speak with an industry expert about the different careers available in the industry.
During the program, students will learn:
Mood boards
How to create fashion illustrations using pencils and watercolour
How to take their ideas and turn them into garments from patterns
To sew
To make one to four items of clothing and/or accessories
How to present their creations
Students work closely with instructors while progressing at a pace suited to their experience level and goals.
